Computer Questions
What
is important to look at when buying a computer? Which model would you
recommend?
When
you buy a computer you look if have the characteristics necessary for
your workplace ,if have enough hardware characteristics for what you
wanna do or for how much cost. I can recommend desktop because you
can upgrade all the hardware when start be slowly and is faster to
play games or something, but if you wanna take a computer you need to
take one for what you wanna do, if you normally don't stay in your
house and you need a computer in your work you buy a laptop, but if
you only need the computer for your home it's better buy
desktop.
How can I change my computer into a newer and faster version? Is this a good option or should I buy a new computer?
You normally can buy all the pieces individually and change for your necessity, some pieces are compatible with other pieces but you can search and buy specific models. I normally upgrade my computer before buy a new because is cheaper but in some cases you need to buy a new computer because your hardware is old and you can't find compatible pieces.

How many types of monitors are there in the market? What are the differences? Which would I advise to buy?
LCD
and CRT.
LC
stands with liquid crystal display and is newer and a flatter type of
computer screen.
CRT
stands with cathode ray tube, is the traditional glass-screen
television used like monitor.
It
is better to buy LCD monitors because they don't have a big
difference of price compared with CRT and are the best option to buy.
CRT monitors are hard to find because people don't wanna buy.
What
is secondary memory? What are the devices used for this kind of
memory? Which are the best ones in the market?
A
secondary memory is a type of mass and permanent storage, with high
size to store but less speed compared with RAM.
Floppy
disc drive (FDD), Hard Disc Drive (HDD), Tape drive, Reader or Burner
Optical Disc (OD), Flash card and Solid-state drive (SSD).
For
me SSD are the best in the market because they are faster than other
and let you use less RAM when you use a program but are expensive and
have less storage.
